Grass-fed, single origin
The ground does the work. We only keep the record.
We hold long agreements with a small number of pastures across five territories. Some of them we have worked with for forty years, and none of them appear on our website. Discretion is part of what they are paid for.
Grass only
Pasture from first day to last. No grain finish, no feedlot, no shortening of the season.
One ground
Each animal is raised, and stays, inside a single territory. Nothing is moved to be finished elsewhere.
Slow seasons
Herds mature at the pace of the weather they stand in. We plan around drought, not against it.
Kept records
Ground, herd, season and hand — written down, held privately, shown on request.
